Description
This is a wooden molecule model of Dopamine, C8H11NO2. The atoms are hand painted wooden spheres in the correct ratios based on data from the Cambridge Crystallographic Database. It is mounted on a plexiglass base with a Dopamine sign on it.
Dopamine is a type of neurotransmitter. The human body makes it, and the nervous system uses it to send messages between nerve cells. That’s why it’s sometimes called a chemical messenger.
More about Dopamine you can read on WikiPedia or PubChem.
The size of the model is 17cm x 6cm x 16cm (width, depth, height).
The Dopamine molecule model is a unique model and the images are of the model itself.
