Wooden Serotonin Molecule Model

Description

This is a wooden molecule model of Serotonin, C₁₀H₁₂N₂O. The atoms are hand painted wooden spheres in the correct ratios based on data from the Cambridge Crystallographic Database. It is mounted on a maple wood base with Serotonin engraved in it. The model is made as a traditional ball-stick model. The sticks are grey painted beech wooden sticks.

Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that helps brain and nervous system cells to communicate. Its main function is to stabilize your mood, as well as your feelings of happiness and well-being.
