Wooden TNT Molecule Model (Wall-Mount)

Description

This is a wooden molecule model of TNT (Trinitrotoluene), C₇H₅N₃O₆. The atoms are hand painted wooden spheres in the correct ratios based on data from the Cambridge Crystallographic Database. It is mounted on an oak base in the shape of a bomb. On the back there is a slot to hang the model on the wall.

The TNT model is mounted in a custom made plexiglass holder mounted on brass rod.

TNT is a chemical explosive that has often been used in warfare. The purified material is a yellow, crystalline substance and is very toxic.
